Wind River Appaloosa Ranch

Marvin and I (Smysers) had dreamed for many years of owning a ranch and breeding horses.
We have seen our dream come true since Marvin retired from GE and have been busy building
our dream ranch. Over the past eight years we have been showing our horses at open,
breed, regional and state shows. The ranch we have built up is located along the Little Wind River
in the middle part of Wyoming with awesome views of the Wind River and Absoroka mountain-ranges.

Our stallions represent strong appaloosa foundation bloodlines. They are deeply bred appaloosa times appaloosa from Ulrich, Toby and Chief of Fourmile. They are proven color producers with
strong bone and great conformation which they pass to their get. They have cool heads and
willing personalities which make their foals so versatile and easy to train.

Our mares have been chosen and bred by us to compliment our stallions.
They bring a mix of well recognized bloodlines including;
Toby, Sundance 500, Ulrich's Many Coups, Rainy Moon, War Woop, Peavy Bimbo,
Plaudit, Bambi E, Antelope, Sunspot Revel, Chief of Fourmile and many more.

As you can tell, our breeding program is aimed at improving the appaloosa horse
